Your Membership and Facility Fees at Work

This off season has been one of the most challenging in this history of the Club, according to Dick Rabold long time board member and former long time manager. Our staff has been working tirelessly, especially the last several weeks to make the pool operational. Please be kind when you enjoy the pool, as most staff are also owners or children of members. We want the pool to be the best it can be for everyone, and we only can do that together.

In addition to the highly visible liner replacement project and repairing the concrete beneath the liner, we have had some major repairs of the pool mechanicals including the main drain line from the pool to the filters, the boiler heater, water supply line to the baby pool and hot tub pump. Without these repairs over the off season, the pools and hot tub would not be operational.

Other repairs and replacements include hot tub roof, the south side of the shelter house, the baby pool and surrounding fencing and gates, steps in the two foot, the internal components of the walk in cooler, installed grease traps and repaired drywall in the concessions stand. The bathrooms also got detailed deep cleanings, including floor stripping and several rounds of power washing.

New features include changing stations in the men’s locker rooms, new benches, basketball hoop, the extensive website updates and online registration and purchase features. We are still looking into ordering new chairs and umbrellas if our financial situation allows. These other repairs and updates have taken precedence over chairs and umbrellas as they are essential to the functioning of the pools.
